Snow Tubing: The Weather Always Cooperates

Another first this year, the whole family tried snow tubing with one of our homeschool groups at the end of February. We were really excited and the night before, the forecast was for rain. Not to worry, said the group leader, it never rains on the days we go.

When we arrived, it was pouring rain so we were a little concerned. We waited about 30 minutes though, and as soon as the leader appeared it was like magic. Poof! The rain disappeared.

Snow tubing was a first for everyone in our family. We got some tubes, rode up a lift and then tubed down a big hill. Most of the time, we opted to go as a family. We all held onto each other and went down in a rush. We'll definitely do this again next year with the same leader: no rain guaranteed.
